Szymon Kruczek

was born in Szczecinek in 1977.

From 1992 he lived in Gdańsk, where he graduated from the High School for the Renovation of Monuments of Architecture and the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts, printing department. Participant of the nationwide artistic plein-air "Jeżów 2001" and the 2nd nationwide festival of street painting "Kliniczna Junction" in Gdańsk. Author of individual exhibitions in Gdańsk, Poznań, Kraków and Nowy Targ. Including the author of illustrations for books and stories by Beata Zalot "Unfinished Tales".

From 2005 he lived and worked in Beskid Niski. It was also there that he discovered an inexhaustible fascination with ceramics. This fascination continues to this day, taking various forms of working with clay, including folk and studio pottery. He learned this craft in the Pottery Workshop of Master Piotr Skiba in Jadwisin.

He is also a member of the Association of Folk Artists in Lublin. Currently, for 4 years he has been associated with the Salwator Artistic Studio, where he conducts ceramic courses and individual classes on the potter's wheel.
